Events Update

Hinkley Point C Supply Chain Events.

We are working  on a sereis of events to start in the autumn 2011. Watch this space.

The programme of  events is coordinated by Somerset Chamber of Commerce and delivered in partnership with Manufacturing Advisory Service SW, Business Link, Bridgwater College and West Somerset Community College. We also endeavour to use local training providers registered on the supply chain portal where the capability exists. Tier 1 contractors are also available to support certain events- bringing with them the main contractor perspective.

Events are open to all businesses registered on the supplier portal whilst some events are targeted at specific sectors or in the case of the Meet the Buyer events are by appointment (following request from Main Contractors). The topics covered by these events currently reflect the needs of the supply chain and EDF Energy and will be subject to change as the project develops.
