The training providers working to provide training to meet the skills demand from both public and private sectors can be contacted directly or through a central team to be established called the Hinkley Point Training Agency. The coalition of colleges and local training providers aims to galvanise external and government support. In doing so, the agency will provide an effective regional response to the opportunity presented by the development of HPC, whilst collecting intelligence to support government and industry skills policy at the National Level.
The agency will work alongside the Hinkley Point C Project’s Employment Affairs Unit to deliver an intelligent brokerage service for the range of training required to meet the skills challenge.
