Work Package Info Events
Where EDF or a preferred Tier 1 bidder has recognised an opportunity for a local supply group to fulfil their requirements, a package awareness event is held. EDF host, supported by the HSC team, identify the basic requirements of the package to a selected group of potential component core group members. These events are by invitation and will focus specifically on the requirements of main contractors which are then matched with local business capability.

Meet the buyer events are facilitated days giving local businesses the opportunity to engage directly with main contractors. These events are by invitation and focus specifically on the requirements of main contractors which are then matched with local business capability.
Appointments are arranged through the HSC team or the Somerset Chamber of Commerce for those businesses registered on the Hinkley C Supply Chain Portal.
The events and workshops held are either promoted to all businesses if the content is generic or are targeted at specific supplier capability according to the work package requirement. Only those suppliers registered on this portal are invited.
