“Delivering a variety of services to national and international contractors”

Hinkley Point C (HPC) continues to break records and hit milestones but it’s the businesses and people behind the scenes who are ensuring the project keeps on track.
One of these is Bristol headquarters-based construction, refurbishment and building reactive and planned maintenance contractor, Lancer Scott Ltd, which also has bases in Taunton, Port Talbot, Bournemouth and Central London.Lancer Scott Case Study 2
Lancer Scott has been working on site for two years and has delivered a variety of general building and HVAC (heating, ventilation and air-conditioning) services directly and indirectly to a number of site-based national and international contractors.

Steve Price, Lancer Scott Account Director, said: “My team and I are proud to play a part in the amazing feat of engineering and construction we know as HPC. It has been a really interesting challenge getting to know the site and the processes and procedures we’ve all learnt along the way since day one.

“Now we have a fully badged and accredited team of skilled operatives that are trusted to deliver all types of projects, values large and small, across main site and associated sites outside of the main site boundaries working all times of day, night, weekends to cater for clients project delivery needs.”

The company registered with the Hinkley Supply Chain (HSC) and has worked with the Somerset Chamber of Commerce-led team, receiving regular updates on key events and timelines at HPC.

“We continue our work to identify where we will fit best as a future provider to our existing and new clients during the upcoming phases of the project. I would certainly recommend working with the HSC team; they are fully engaged in HPC and they understand the challenges  that businesses have in accessing opportunities and also understanding the unique way in which this prestigious site operates, which can be a real eye opener for some,” said Mr Price.
