The company, whose Southern depot is based in Tavistock, Devon, also has depots in Glasgow, Aberdeen, Stockton-on-Tees and the United Arab Emirates.

The UK welding consumables manufacturer supplies a range of high quality, high integrity products for both welding and cutting applications. The product range encapsulates equipment and consumables for all welding and cutting processes and includes WB Alloys’ own and other major brand name products.

Work at HPC, so far, has included fume extraction systems, heat induction systems, nuclear grade abrasives, purge equipment and weld/gas monitoring equipment.

Sean Noble, Sales Director, said: “WB Alloy Welding Products offers a broad range of services from cutting and welding services to bespoke design and manufacturing solutions. Services include calibration, gas hose testing, PAT testing repairs and certification.

“We are committed to being the provider and manufacturer of choice in our marketplace and are constantly seeking to develop unique products and services that are recognised as market leaders.

“We recruit and retain the best people and are committed to offering the best possible customer service.”

WB Alloy Welding Products UK became involved with the HPC project through the Hinkley Supply Chain, attending events and keeping up to date with supply chain newsletters.

Sean added: “The newsletters are very informative and key to getting updates and seeing the progress and where work has been awarded.

“I would 100% recommend businesses work with the Hinkley Supply Chain team for business development opportunities, as they are an excellent source of information and can also flag opportunities you may have missed.”

Darchem secured a multi-million Pound contract at HPC to produce sub-surface lines and prefabricated fuel storage pond and reactor refuelling pool liners.
